AON3D, a New York-based 3D printer manufacturing startup has announced the completion of a Series A funding round at $11.5 million and a partnership with Astrobotic for their Peregrine Moon Lander mission.

The round was led by SineWave Ventures with participation from BDC Capital, Panache Ventures, AlleyCorp, EDC, Y Combinator Continuity, and MANA Ventures. Leading Silicon Valley angels and top social media influencers Josh Richards & Griffin Johnson also joined the funds round. Since its founding, the company has raised total capital of $14.2 million through funding rounds.
Founded in 2015, AON3D provides unlocked hardware and software to allow clients to access the largest selection of 3D printable materials in the industry, including the world’s strongest thermoplastics. Currently, AON3D is serving over 250 customers in 25 countries around the world, including the United States Air Force, Blue Origin, NASA, Solvay, Sabic, and many more. Kevin Han, CEO and co-founder of AON3D referred to the startup’ mission by saying:

The new funding will be used to further improve the 3D printing technology developed by AON3D, support enterprise adoption by onboarding top talent, and continue offering best-in-class support to the company’s clients for their 3D printing needs at a time when the technology is becoming a staple for the manufacturing of end-use parts in several industries around the globe.
