No longer feel like paying $50.00 for makeup primers? Me either. But at the same time, I do not want to go out and get some affordable, but crappy, primers. How would you like your makeup to last longer and look better on your skin by minimizing fine lines, wrinkles and pores? All you need is a handful of ingredients and a few minutes to whip up this Homemade Makeup Primer.
RAINCLOUD SETTING SPRAY

1 TBSP. Glycerin (www.mountainroseherbs.com)
1.5 TBSP. Rose Hydrosol (www.mountainroseherbs.com) or distilled water
1.5 TBSP. Rose Petal Witch Hazel (www.vitacost.com)
8 drops lavender oil (www.mountainroseherbs.com) – OPTIONAL
MCKEAN EYE PRIMER (there are no required measurements for this primer)
- Add one or two drops of your fave foundation (make sure the foundation color matches your skin).
- Mix in one or two drops of the moisturizer you use daily, and stir until well blended.
- Wait for it to try before placing makeup on your skin.
MUSELY FACE PRIMER
- 3 TBSP Moisturizer
- 3 TBSP Aloe Vera (preferably clear, but the green will do)
- 1.5 TBSP foundation (make sure it matches your skintone)
- Empty lotion bottle
Mix all ingredients together with a clean spoon. You can add sunscreen if you wish.
When you are ready to apply the primer, use a brush, fingers or a sponge.
