Washing your hair his a pain. Or at least I think so. Get into the shower, use shampoo, rinse, use conditioner, rinse, dry, etc. But when you have a special type of hair, that’s when the real pain begins. Wash your hair regularly: Regular washing of hair helps to keep the scalp clean, remove excess oil and dirt, and prevent the buildup of product residue.
If you have oily hair,, you should wash your hair everday to prevent buildup of dirt. For oily hair, I would choose Choose a shampoo and conditioner that are gentle and appropriate for your hair type. Avoid using products with harsh chemicals that can strip your hair of its natural oils. Try Neutrogena Exfoliating Healthy Scalp Clarify & Shine Shampoo & Conditioner for Oily Hair and Scalp, with Pink Grapefruit.
If you have dry hair, you should wash your hair every 5 days to allow some of your hair’s natural oils to be retained on the scalp. Use a gentle shampoo and conditioner. I personally use this shampo, and it is one of my faves. It is It’s a 10 Silk Express Miracle Silk Shampoo . For thin hair I would recomment Ogx and Lush. for fine hair shampoo, it infused with a blend of the nourishing vitamin biotin and collagen. Collagen is a naturally occuring protein in the body.
For thick hair, I would recommend Pureology Hair Mositurizing Shampoo – the shampoo is sulfate-free and vegan. It deeply hydrates, moisturizing and gentle on your hair. It also works on color treated hair.
For curly hair, I would recommend Not Your Mother’s Curl Talk Shampoo & Conditioner – for those with curly hair this shampoo is suitable for all curl types. It’a gentle and enchances curls and made of rice curl complex ( a formulated blend of rice, keratin, amino acids and enzymes. This protects and enhances curl protection.
For color treated hair. You will have to be careful of the products you choose when using shampoo. You are going to want to get a shampoo that tenders to hair which is color treated. One good shampoo is Biolage Color Last Shampoo. Biolage COLORLAST Shampoo helps maintain the color depth, tone and shine for vivid color-treated hair.
Avoid excessive heat: Limit the use of heated styling tools like flat irons, curling irons, and blow dryers as they can damage your hair and make it brittle. There are products you can use before working with hot tools. My favorite is HSI Professional Aragan Oil – Thermal Protector.
Protect your hair from the sun: – Sun exposure can cause hair damage, so it’s essential to protect your hair from the sun’s harmful rays. Wear a hat or use a hair sunscreen to protect your hair when outdoors. My favorite hair sunscreen Sun Bum – Scalp and Hair Mist SPF 30. Sun Bum delivers a lightweight, nourishing mist to help protect your scalp from the sun while not weighing down your hair.
Eat a healthy diet: A balanced and healthy diet with plenty of vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin A, vitamin E, and omega-3 fatty acids, can promote healthy hair growth and prevent hair loss.
These are some easy steps to take good care for your hair. There ae other products such as styling products that can help not only with styling, but shielding your hair from the sun and nourish your hair.
