Working on building a healthy lifestyle and coming up with healthy food ideas can be difficult for anyone. Yes, it may be a challenge, but in life, all things come with a challenge. Eating healthy can always seem like a stressful and unpleasant thing, but I only think that’s the case when you let it be.
Don’t let your mind take over and present to you those unhappy thoughts about eating health. Filter those negative thoughts out. Think about in the long run and how once you maintain this habit, it will be something that you can quickly put into your day to day routine.
Instead of making this daunting, lets create a good practice and make healthy dishes fun just like we enjoy making brownies or cookies. Let’s take that same motive and apply it to make a healthy meal.
Think you can’t go healthy while having a drink? Well, think again. We all know drinking adds on a few pounds, but what if you can prevent that? Here are some healthy drinks that can still give you that buzz but won’t pack on those extra five pounds.

Aperol Spritz
Ingredients
Ice
4 fl. oz. Prosecco
½ fl. oz. Aperol

Another simple recipe that won’t take long. All you have to do on this is fill a wine glass with ½ full of ice, then you are going to add in your Prosecco, Aperol, and club soda and mix well.
Moscow Mule
Ingredients:
For Ginger Syrup:
1 cup of water
½ coarsely chopped fresh ginger
½ cup granulated sugar
For Moscow Mule:
Ice
1 fl. oz. vodka
½ fl. oz. fresh lime juice
4 fl. oz. club soda
1 slice medium lime
Instructions:
For Ginger Syrup:
First, you will bring water, ginger, and sugar to a boil in a small pan over medium heat. Once that gets boiling a little, you will reduce the heat to low where it will gently simmer. Make sure you keep an eye on this because it can quickly burn, and starting this process over is not something you want to do. Then you are going to cover for 30 minutes partially and then strain to remove the ginger; chill before using.
For Moscow Mule:
You’re going to fill a highball glass ¾ full of ice. Then, add in your vodka, lime juice, and 1 tsp of your ginger syrup you just made. Make sure you mix that well and then top it off with club soda and mix that in, and you can finish it off with a lime slice garnish.
