The Lively & Grit Daily House, located at 206 San Marcos Street, just a few blocks from the downtown convention center, will be activated from March 9th to the 11th. It is on the 9th that Activision Blizzard Media will get things going, bringing two exciting panels to Grit Daily’s outdoor stage.
Panel one will begin at 11:20 AM CT, with a presentation led by Jonathan Stringfield, VP of Global Business Research & Marketing at Activision Blizzard Media. The keynote, “Navigating New Realities: Gaming’s Cultural Evolution and the Reemergence of Transmedia,” will explore concepts such as the synergy between gaming and Hollywood, the rise of portable gaming, and the return of nostalgia.
Expect insights from Stringfield’s experience in media research, game marketing, and analytics, which will carry through to the second panel: Power of IP: Gaming x Entertainment.
On the second panel, Stringfield will be joined by Mike White, CEO of Lively Worldwide, and Elle McCarthy, who previously served as Executive Marketing Leader of EA Sports. Together, they will explore the enduring influence of gaming IPs on the broader entertainment industry, discussing innovative strategies within beloved franchises and gaming’s expanding cultural footprint. The panel is set to begin at 11:45 AM CT.
